After the successful launch of the first silhouette from the P.O.D. range in July, adidas Originals have dropped their second silhouette from the extended range. Built upon the motif of ‘great alone, better together’, the P.O.D-S3.1 silhouette is born. The launch campaign features footballer, Paul Pogba, in order to shine a light on the newest iterations, delving deeper into the genesis of a true sporting creator.
The campaign features Pogba in the role of the storyteller, revisiting his upbringing and the support he’s received over the years that continue to this day. Highlighting the foundations of family and friends, the campaign demonstrates that as with the design of the P.O.D-S3.1 shoe, you can be great alone but you are always better together. The October P.O.D-S3.1 campaign is a celebration of community.
The new P.O.D-S3.1 sneakers positions the franchise firmly at centre stage. It is informed by an interconnection of archive aesthetics and progressive design perspectives and draws upon adidas Originals’ collective memory creating a product that is truly greater than the sum of its parts. The new P.O.D-S3.1 features an all-white colourway, with EVA forefoot, BOOST heel and Point of Deflection bridge, three separate components fused into one.
The adidas Originals P.O.D-S3.1 will be available from today, 18 October 2018, at adidas Originals stores, selected retailers and online at www.adidas.co.za for R2,299.
