Following a couple of successful drops of the Continental 80 silhouette in 2018, adidas Originals has dropped another addition to the range. The Continental 80 is a symbol of democratic design for the contemporary sneaker wearer, establishing itself as an icon. The latest silhouette features a simple, unrefined aesthetic straight from the archives.
The Continental 80 draws on inspiration from the adidas ’80s archive training shoe. The silhouette is based off the iconic court style, leather sneakers, updating the proportions and materials to give the sneaker a fresh look, keeping is simplicity with its minimalist touches.
The range features new colourways, including the FTWR white/scarlet/collegiate navy, while still respecting the strong heritage which it brings. With eye-catching lines and bold colour-blocking, including maroon, collegiate navy, off white and scarlet, to name a few, the silhouette combines an instantly recognisable super-soft leather upper with a double cup-sole, representing a benchmark for style and comfort.
The adidas Originals Continental 80 is available via adidas.co.za, with a retail price of R1,299.
