Following last month’s release of the YEEZY 500 Stone and the YEEZY BOOST 500 Soft Vision, adidas and Kanye West have once again joined forces for the release of two new silhouettes, the adidas YEEZY 500 High Slate and adidas YEEZY Boost 700 Carbon Blue. THe pair will be released over the next week, just in time for Christmas.

YEEZY 500 High Slate

The YEEZY 500 High Slate follows on from the Yeezy DSRT BT collection released earlier this year. The sneaker features a moulded upper, which is composed of cow suede, along with premium leather and elastane. It also includes a padded collar to provide the ultimate fit and comfort.

The silhouette features a rubber wrap along the midsole of the foot, providing support and abrasive resistance. Additional details include a reflective piping finish around the lace eyelets, which add visibility in poor lighting conditions. The adiPRENE+ cushioning is designed to absorb impact in order to optimise rebound, while the light rubber outsole provides the supporting traction in any environment.

The adidas YEEZY 500 High Slate will drop globally on Monday, 16 December 2019 at selected adidas Originals stores and online at adidas.co.za. The sneaker will have a recommended retail price of R3,499.

YEEZY Boost 700 Carbon Blue

The adidas YEEZY Boost 700 Carbon Blue continues where the Yeezy BOOST 700 Teal Blue left off. The sneaker features a mixed material upper, including blue suede overlays alongside a combination of blue and grey mesh underlays. The look is finished off with a light grey premium leather, with a dark grey heel suede. The midsole is constructed of the signature boost technology, which provides comfort and stability.

The adidas Originals YEEZY BOOST 700 Carbon Blue is set to drop exclusively at the adidas Originals Sandton City store. The sneaker will be available around the world from 18 December 2019 and carries a recommended retail price of R4,999.
