Bandai Namco has announced the release date for ACE Combat 7: Skies Unknown along with a new action-packed trailer.
ACE Combat 7: Skies Unknown will release on the PlayStation 4 on the 18th of January 2019 and then on the Xbox One and PC on the 1st of February 2019. The game will see players return to the Usean Continent once again as part of the Penitentiary Unit, a group which as the name suggests consists of convicted criminals (sounds like a Suicide Squad to me). The game will feature all the fast-paced, high-flying action that fans have come to expect from the series, including new weapons, flight controls and aeroplanes, such as the sturdy A-10C Thunderbolt II and the multipurpose F-35C fighter. For those itching to get fully immersed into the game, it will also include PlayStation VR missions along with the game’s main campaign. Although not much has been revealed about the VR missions which will be available. Judging by the ACE Combat 7: Skies Unknown trailer, it seems like we are in for some truly fun, exhilarating aerial combat.
