Oddworld Inhabitants and Firma Studios have announced another new entry in the Oddworld series, Oddworld: Soulstorm.
The game is expected to release late in 2017, and according to a press release will pick up directly after RuptureFarms has been overthrown. After having defeated Molluck the Glukkon, Abe finds himself and his rescued fellow Mudokons without a home, food or water.
Faced with these challenges they find solace in a strange drink which could lead to disastrous consequences.
Lorne Lanning the creator of the much-loved series said that this time around they would be aiming to tell a much darker and sinister tale than they were able to in previous games.
The Executive producer Bennie Terry also added that fans will not be able to predict what will happen as they have some great surprises in store.
No platforms for Oddworld: Soulstorm have been announced yet.
