Curtis Jackson, better known as rapper 50 Cent, is gearing up for a new vigilante superhero TV series. Jackson, who has already created hit show “Power” for Starz, is looking to further his repertoire with “Tomorrow, Today” and will be “creating it, writing it, finding the best team for it”.
The show will focus on a “veteran from the south side of Chicago who, after being falsely imprisoned, becomes the personal experiment of a mad prison doctor trying to create the perfect man — and an unstoppable killing machine.” Of course, he escapes and has to learn to live in a world that’s turned against him while mastering his new abilities.
“This project is very personal to me,” Jackson said in a press release. “I will continue to be involved every step of the way.” Tomorrow, Today is part of 50 Cent’s overall deal with the network that was extended, thereby keeping him developing shows with the premium cable channel until September of 2018. This is just the latest addition to 50 Cent’s growing media empire.
