The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations have been announced and it looks to be the year of the freshman. 2016 and 2017 have been an outstanding one for the small screen. Many new shows have done really well, thanks to Netflix and other streaming services. Not surprisingly, Netflix’s Stranger Things scored 19 nominations, while SNL and Westworld lead the pack with 22 nominations each.
