Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

  1. STORM!
Yes I like her even better then the cigar smokin’ trash talking, lovable guy with the retracable claws. Not too many X-Men can match her raw unbridled power let alone her resume. She controls the weather, rides on hurricane winds, uses lightning. She is one of prominent leaders of the X-Men, reigning queen of a nation, a temporary replacement member in the Fantastic Four. She is a professional thief. Leader of the Morlocks at one time. She even beat Cyclops for the leadership of the X-men when she had no powers. Not to mention she was one of the first female black superheroes!

  2. Ajmal

Because transforming into someone else and causing chaos sounds like a good way to spend a lifetime :p

  3. wessley gombard

Will be and always has been Wolverine. From the 1990’s Xmen animated series, right to the awesome Old Man Logan graphic novel, Wolverine is the man. Even named my Jack Russell Patch after what Wolverine called himself during his time in Madripoor.

  4. Mea Steyn

Cannot wait! I love Wolverine and Magneto. But my all time favourite has to be Gambit from the original Marvel cartoon series

  5. Donavan

Gambit – Remy LeBeau. I thought this was a given! “This place, it preys on the weak. It wants to corrupt them. Kill them… It tests them. So that only the strong survive. This place, this is where I belong. This place, it’s mine now. And it’s time to hunt.”
    –Remy LeBeau

  6. Jaco Bruwer

Wolverine of course. From the classic cartoons he was always leading the troops into battle. Fearless and still have love for those close to him.

  7. Going back to my childhood, the animated X-MEN Series… WOLVERINE is one that always stood out. To this day he my favorite and the strongest mutant in the X-MEN universe IMO (not forgetting Apocalypse and Deadpool though XD )

  8. phippsac

Would definitely have to be Professor Charles Xavier, being a sapiosexual his intellect is most admirable and he is a great example of how one can overcome whatever life tends to throw your way. Real life lessons from a fictional character makes him my favorite X Men character

  9. Ernst

STORM has always been my favourite, because she is such a bad ass – but also such a LADY! The contradiction is amazing. Besides, who wouldnt want to have power over the weather?

  10. Tammy-Leigh Smith

Jean Grey Summers aka Phoenix aka Red I think she was called Marvel girl too.
Telepathic and telekinetic she is a Omega level mutant.
As Phoenix she is pretty much bad ass – I dont think Professor X can stop her – able to time travel and literally manipulate matter.
    Beautiful powerful deadly
    Love her!

  11. There is only one Wolverine!!!

He is the least dramatic of all the Xmen, takes no crap from anybody, Including Magneto, heals himself, and he will live forever!!

    So… Wolverine!!!

  12. lauren

Quicksilver is the best -sooooo in love and obsessed with Quicksilver it is not funny. Unique and awesome xxxxxxxxxxx

  13. Emma Frost
From stripper to villlain to teacher to leader of the x-men, she has had one of the most complete character arcs in comics. She has the mental power of Xavier and none of his morals. Shes probably the best teacher the x-men have and one of the funniest members. Always quick with a scathing, witty one liner, her best super power would be to put the other x-men in their place. And of course, her diamond form hides the fact that she is a very flawed person who just wants to give her students the chance she never had.

  14. Kimeshen Naiker

STORM STORM STORM . . One of the most strongest characters in the marvel universe but so underrated in the movies . Such a die hard fan, even got her name tattooed on my arm ! #storm #alexandrashipp

  15. Stephan

My all time favourite is bobby (iceman), he is the first character and only character I could relate to myself. Not only is he a very personal favourite his power set amazing, and really underestimated, he has proven that his power can extend to much more than simply coating people in a layer of ice.

  16. Jean Grey/ The Phoenix
Jean has always captivated me with her personality. She existed always afraid of her power, afraid to be in her own skin and tried hard to fit in with the other pupils who saw her as “dangerous”, much like people do in life all the time. Then as the Phoenix she lets lets her power shine and helps save the universe (this is the good phoenix btw not the dark one). So to me she represented the dormant strength we all have in us that we hold back, while trying just to fit in. Jean/The Phoenix is empathy, vulnerability, amazing strength, blazing power, to me she’s duality. I dig her so much that I got a phoenix tattoo just to remind myself of the duality I have in me. (I can’t seem to add the pic here darn it)

  17. Danni Nyx

Wow – so many choices: but I would have to go with Domino (Uncanny X-Men, first appearance in 1981 issue #504) Her ability might only be “Luck” but i’ll be damned if she doesnt kick serious butt – and hook up with Deadpool ;)

  18. My favourite X-men is Storm. Powerful, but vulnerable. She’s a thief, a leader, a teacher, a queen and a goddess. She gets misused in stories and movie but is an amazing, string woman
