  1. Renier Van Loggerenberg

Dunkirk was shot using large format cameras, IMAX and 65mm.

Nolan is one of the best directors of his generation. He uses complex ideas and narratives to engage his audience in unique film going experiences. On top of that he also prefers shooting on film rather than digital medium. Dunkirk will surely be another modern classic from this master filmmaker.

The film was shot on 65mm hand held IMAX cameras, and the recommendation of Steven Spielberg. Can’t wait for this film. Will probably watch it 10 times. Will need a better TV for the home video release

  6. Just Me

The movie was shot IMAX 65 mm.

To be honest, Nolan rather lost me with Intersteller…

I mean, yeah… Lets jump into a black hole, and end up in 5th dimensional space – manifested in the bedroom of a little girl.

Still, I’m gonna give Dunkirk a go.
