Stop the train… Christmas is officially here. Acclaimed filmmaker Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, The Royal Tenenbaums) has directed a new commercial for the H&M Christmas 2016 collection titled “Come Together,” starring Academy Award-winner/Anderson regular Adrien Brody (The Pianist). Watch the Wes Anderson H&M Commercial below.
In the short film, lone passengers are traveling to join their loved ones for the Christmas holiday, but winter weather conspires to way-lay them. Adrien Brody plays the conductor and film director Garth Jennings (The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Sing) plays his assistant porter Fritz.
It’s the type of short that will manage to get you in the mood for the Christmas festivities.
“This story may resonate more than ever at a time in the world where we could all do with giving a stranger a hug,” said Adrien Brody.
