Will we see Bruce Wayne or Batman appear in the upcoming season of CW’s Supergirl? It might be possible. A new trailer featuring Tyler Hoechlin as Superman mentions Gotham City.
Not so long ago it seemed like Superman would never be part of the series. That’s all changed. And depending on how well Tyler Hoechlin sits with audiences, I can bet there will be a spin-off series. So what stops CW from introducing Batman? There have been dozens of rumours about this in the past. They already have Flash, Superman, Martian Manhunter and Supergirl.
Of course, FOX might have the rights for that. So we’ll just have to wait and see. At least, it’s good to know that Batman does exist in this universe.
Supergirl premieres Monday, October 10 at 8/7c on The CW starring Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El, Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, Lynda Carter as the president, Chris Wood as Mon-El, Sharon Leal as Miss Martian, Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Ian Gomez as Snapper Carr, Floriana Lima as Maggie Sawyer, and Frederick Schmidt as Metallo.
Supergirl: At 12 years old, Kara Zor-El escapes doom on planet Krypton to find protection on Earth with the Danver family, where she grows up in the shadow of her foster sister, Alex, and learns to hide the extraordinary powers she shares with her cousin, Superman. Now an adult living in National City and working for media mogul Cat Grant, Kara finds her days of keeping her abilities a secret are over when super-secret agency head Hank Henshaw enlists her to help protect the city’s citizens from threats. Finally coming into her own, Kara must juggle her new responsibilities with her very human relationships.
