The Making of Ghost Rider For Agents of SHIELD Featurette

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD returned to ABC last week, and the series brought vengeance along with it. Check out a new featurette on the making of Ghost Rider for Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD.

This featurette goes behind the scenes (from conception, to filming, to finished effect) to show us the mo-cap creation of Gabriel Luna’s fiery Spirit of Vengeance, LED hood and all. Kolpack explains that to simulate the lighting effects produced by a burning skull, he designed a special hood covered in flickering LEDs for Ghost Rider actor Gabriel Luna to wear.

Does this mean I have to start watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. now? Probably. It looks pretty decent. This is exactly what this show needed.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD stars Clark Gregg as Director Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Agent Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie, Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, and Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes, aka the spirit of vengeance – Ghost Rider.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD 4×02 “Meet the New Boss” – Daisy goes to battle Ghost Rider at a terrible cost, and Coulson faces the new Director, and his bold agenda surprises them all, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Tuesday, September 27th on ABC.
