Uncharted 4 Designer Defends White Actor Voicing Black Character

It seems Uncharted 4 has raised some controversy by using a white actress to voice a black character in the upcoming Playstation 4 exclusive.

“I wouldn’t change anything,” Uncharted 4’s Neil Druckmann said during a panel at the PlayStation Experience event. The character that has caused a stir is Nadine Ross, an ass-kicking South African mercenary. She’s played by a white voice actress, Laura Bailey.

A bigger concern to me is that Nadine doens’t sound South African at all. She sounds more Australian to me.
