Over the years, Tomb Raider, which centres on the adventures of Lara Croft, an English archaeologist in search of ancient relics, has won a special place in gamers hearts. In this latest iteration, which is a reboot to the franchise, the game showcases a young Lara embarking on a quest for survival that unfolds her identity as the Tomb Raider.
The first minute of the trailer shows a bruised and battered Lara hanging upside down in an underground cave trying to free herself. Once she falls to the ground, there’s a series of explosions and she eventually makes her way out only to find a massive shipwreck.
The game was first set for an early autumn release but has now been postponed to March 5 2013 and will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
