It was confirmed by Marvel that everyone’s favorite bumbling actor Jeff Goldblum would be joining the cast of Thor: Ragnarok.
Jeff Goldblum has been cast as the Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok. The Grandmaster is one of the oldest beings in the Marvel universe, who passes the time by mastering every manner of game conceivable. He especially likes pitting superpowered characters against one and other to see who would be victorious.
Along with Jeff Goldblum, Cate Blanchett has been announced as Hela, Tessa Tompson as the heroic Valkyrie and Carl Urban in the role of the Executioner.
The announcement also confirmed that the big green (Hulk) would have a starring role in the film. It was previously suggested that the film would be a “buddy picture” starring Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).
Thor: Ragnarok is being directed by Taika Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Tessa Thompson and Mark Ruffalo.
