Amanda Waller has summoned the ragtag group of villains from Task Force X, which includes Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, Killer Frost, Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn and Copperhead, again in Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, DC’s latest R-rated animated film. As the trailer shows, we can expect strong bloody violence, sexual content, brief graphic nudity, and some drug material in the direct-to-video film.
While the Suicide Squad team might have had a hard time at the box office recently, with many fans preferring the animated film Assault On Arkham to the live-action film, DC isn’t writing off the characters just yet. They’re back again in a new animated feature, which is, thankfully, completely unrelated to Assault On Arkham or the current DCEU franchise.
Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay finds Amanda Waller’s top-secret Task Force X on a mission to retrieve a mystical object so powerful that they’re willing to risk their own lives to steal it. But the Suicide Squad isn’t the only group of villains seeking to possess the object. The race is on for the golden prize … and, to stay alive, second place isn’t an option.
Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay stars Christian Slater as Deadshot, Billy Brown as Bronze Tiger, Liam McIntyre as Captain Boomerang, Kristin Bauer van Straten as Killer Frost, Gideon Emery as Copperhead, Tara Strong as Harley Quinn, Vanessa Williams as Amanda Waller, C. Thomas Howell as Zoom, Dania Ramirez as Scandal Savage, James Urbaniak as Professor Pyg, Julie Nathanson as Silver Banshee, Jim Pirri as Vandal Savage and Vertigo, Greg Grunberg as Maxum Steel, Dave Fennoy as Blockbuster and Tobias Whale, Cissy Jones as Knockout, Natalie Lander as Darma, Trevor Devall asPunch, Dave Boat as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, and Matthew Mercer as Savage Gunman.
