Megarom & SteelSeries Launch Peripherals Trade-in Program for July
Trade-in your old or broken peripherals for up to a 30% Discount on SteelSeries Gear
Megarom Interactive (Pty) Ltd., South Africa’s leading importer and distributor of interactive video games, today announced that that together with SteelSeries, the companies will be hosting a “Trade-in” program for customers to bring in their used peripherals, limited to Mouse, Keyboards, and headsets and in return can purchase any SteelSeries product with up to a 30% discount.
Peripherals brought in will be assessed and a discount given to the customer on any new SteelSeries product. Items not working or damaged will receive a 10% discount. Working peripherals will receive the maximum discount of 30%. Discount can only be used against a SteelSeries product available from the selected partners.
All traded goods will be assessed with old damaged and broken peripherals being recycled while working gear will be donated to various charities in need of equipment around South Africa. This is being handled by Blue Falcon IT (www.bluefalconit.co.za). Alan Spohr, Accessory Account Manager at Megarom said, “It’s not every day that a gamer has the opportunity to give back, and it’s exciting to see a top brand like SteelSeries looking at new ways to get involved with the community.” He went on to further say, “Not only is SteelSeries contributing to charity, but the gamers themselves, each one of us have an opportunity to make a difference to someone in need. The promotion will happen for the entire month of July starting on the 1st of July 2014 and ending on the 31st through the following selected partners including:
