Real Racing was first released by Firemint in 2009 for iOS devices, including the iPhone, iPod and iPad. It has since been ported to Android and MAC in Real Racing 2. Rated as one of the best (if not the best) racing simulation for mobile devices, the franchise has seen great success. Real Racing 2 is one of my favourite mobile games, which I use on a regular basis to test smartphone graphics capabilities.
Recently merged with developer Firemonkeys, as a member of the EA family, the game will see an increase in its licensing for Real Racing 3. These licences include more cars, such as Porsche, Dodge and Audi, real cars, such as Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Silverstone, and an improved racing experience with official championship racing on real tracks.
