Did R. Kelly hire impersonator R. Jelly to perform in his place?

It seems that not only does R. Kelly believe he can fly, but the singer/songwriter now believes he swindle hundreds of fans at a recent concert. Angry fans, who paid $150 for a ticket to see to see him perform, were left speechless when an alleged impersonator appeared on the stage three hours late and lip-synced for four minutes.

“We was scammed because 10 o’clock we was there, no R. Kelly. 11 o’clock: no R Kelly, 12 o’clock: no R. Kelly, 12:45: no R. Kelly. 1 o’clock, here comes an impersonator,” one fan explained. It remains unclear whether R. Kelly was actually scheduled to perform and, according to NME, promoters are denying that he committed to the concert, while attendees maintain the performance was advertised. After receiving numerous complaints, the city says they’ve relayed those comments to the concert promoter, who they say is responsible for the event.

Com’on Kelly, that’s not Steppin’ In The Name Of Love!
