Puma Partners With Naturel For the Return Of Season Two

Last season saw the release of two drops from the Puma X Naturel partnership in 2017. The duo has once again joined forces for the first drop from their second season for the Xray Graphics pack.

Naturel, a graphics artist known for his angular, disruptive “vector-art” style, which blurs the lines between art, politics, music, sneakers and sports. The SS’18 collection raises the bar of streetwear design, focusing on Naturel’s iconic art form, which has a cult following transcending societies and subcultures. The latest range features a few more abstract concepts, with standalone graphics true to their style, and mixed with items from Puma’s archive for progressive silhouettes. Both sneaker drops from the new range draw inspiration from the X-Ray with Naturel’s iconic graphic DNA applied in skeleton format, boasting contrasting colour palettes.

The first sneaker from the range, the Puma Breaker Boot Naturel in Puma Black, features art designs applied to his vision of the x-ray skeleton. The tonal black premium knitted leather and canvas uppers are complemented by chunky rope laces, and a translucent outsole revealing a skeleton foot graphic.

The second item from the collection is the Tsugi evoKnit Sock Naturel with the third being the Suede Naturel. The Tsugi can be worn with or without laces, giving a fresh and progressive look to the original silhouette. Key features include tonal chunky rope and reflective laces with rubber tips, as well as a skeletal, and shaded graphic print and translucent outsole finish off the look.
