Earlier this week, Puma Football undertook a large scale release of 23 globally licensed club Third and Away kits in 7 different time zones, all in less than 24 hours.
These Puma Football kits were designed to be strong and clean looking, with the aim to give both players and fans the confidence to step out in style in their rivals’ territories. Each of the kits has a single design trait with dark and fearsome colour palette, are technically-advanced, premium in materials and features unique detailing inspired by the individual club’s stadium or town, so home pride is with them wherever they go.
The reveal began in Sydney Australia in the first of the 7 time zones, where Arsenal FC are currently on tour. The team stepped out in front of the Fort Dennison at sunset with the spectacular backdrop of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, where they revealed the first of the Puma Football Step Out kits. The campaign continued throughout the day with the biggest clubs, ranging from Borussia Dortmund to Chivas, Cerezo Osaka to FC Krasnodar, Mamelodi Sundowns to Girondins de Bordeaux, and everywhere in between. Each of these teams launched their kits as the sun went down in their respective countries.
South African PSL team, Mamelodi Sundowns launched their 2017/18 Home and Away shirts earlier this month, with the Brazilians also launching their Step Out kit on the day. The kit, along with many others, will be available in South Africa from Puma stores, Totalsports, The Cross Trainer, Studio 88, Takealot and selected retailers across the country, and will retail from R799.
