At the PlayStation Experience 2015 conference we were treated to some great, interesting and entertaining announcements. Although the conference might not have been exactly what people were expecting there were a few great announcements made. Here are some of them.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake looks amazing
Sony and Square Enix treated us to the first gameplay reveal trailer for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake as Cloud, Barret and Tifa take on Shinra. The game looks really stunning and bought back some good memories.
Uncharted 4 has dialogue choices?
Not only did the Uncharted 4 trailer show Nathan reuniting with his brother, but it seems that Uncharted 4 will have dialogue choices. This is a first for the series and just how much choice players will have is still not clear.
Meet the new fighters coming to Street Fighter 5
During the PSX 2015 conference Capcom revealed the newest fighter for Street Fighter 5 named FANG. They also confirmed the leaked report that the first six post launch characters would be Alex, Guile, Ibuki, Balrog, Juri and Urien.
Meet the Exclusive new PS4 Battleborn character.
Gearbox revealed a new exclusive to PS4 character for Battleborn called Toby, a mech suit wearing penguin. PlayStation owners will also be the first to be invited to play the open beta before the games release.
Get ready to go full throttle.
Double fine announced that they are working on an HD remaster of the classic adventure game Full Throttle for PS4. This was one of the first PC adventure games I owned, so I am really exited to get my hands on it again.
Adult Swim, bring on the games.
Adult Swim announced that they would be bringing five games to the PS4; Ray’s the Dead, Duck game, Rain world, Small radios Big televisions and Death’s Gambit. Not only will these five new games be coming to PS4, but Adult Swim will also bring the strange new game from Double Fine, Head Lander to the console.
Slay those text based monsters in Brutal.
Brutal is a game in which players venture into a dungeon completely made out of text (Ascii art) in order to fight and kill text based monsters. I was quite impressed by the interesting art direction of the game and I am looking forward to see some more of the game in the future.
It’s time to take to the skies in ACE Combat 7
Bandai Namco revealed the new entry into the ACE Combat series, ACE Combat 7 for PS4. The game will provide players with an arsenal of ultra modern weapons with which to take on your enemies. They also revealed that there would be a VR component to the game.
Get lost once again in the world of NI no Kuni.
One of the announcements that got me really exited was made by Bandai Namco, who revealed that Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom would be coming to PS4. The story follows a completely different set of characters and has a new and unique storyline. One thing is for sure, the game looks gorgeous.
Get ready for some action with Epic’s Paragon.
Epic announced that its upcoming 3rd person shooter MOBA Paragon would be coming to PS4. The game would be in early access on PS4 and PC early 2016.
Dark Souls with Samurai.
Team Ninja showed off a trailer for Nioh, a game that was originally revealed for PS3. From what was shown it seems to be inspired by the Dark Souls series, but rooted in Japanese Mythology .
