With the new PlayStation 4 system software update 3.50 which releases today, comes a bunch of new features.

One of the most anticipated of these features is the expansion of the PlayStation 4’s remote play capabilities which will include PC and Mac. This feature will be compatible with Windows 8.1 and 10 as well as OS X 10.10 and 10.11. You will also be able to choose the following resolutions, 360p, 540p or 720p as well as 30 or 60fps.

New friends list features will make it possible to enable notifications when your friends connect online, or schedule user events for which other users can register, this will automatically add them when the event starts.

Players will also be able to appear offline so that they will now be able to play games without interruptions.
