Verdict: 1.5 / 5
‘Global Warming’ is part of Pitbull’s plan to stay way high atop of the charts. It is a collaborative brothel, swathed in hook ups featuring Usher ,Chris Brown, Christina Aguilera and Akon to name a few.
What does one say or do when the title track samples ‘Macarena’? This album is genetically engineered to appeal to the masses as each track sounds like a radio single or club stomper, an idea that reads well on paper but induces dizziness and nausea once your ears catch the first note. With every track from ‘Don’t stop the party’ to ‘I’m off that’ pulsating at the same frequency, you’ll be reaching for a brown bag by track two.
The album offers nothing of merit and adds to our woes with cringe worthy sampling of popular tunes like A-Ha’s ‘Take on me’. The sexual content in the lyrics is appalling so all in all this release is a disaster despite it racing up the charts. Stay far away from this one.
