Developer Dontnod has revealed that they are currently working on a follow-up to their critically acclaimed Life is Strange game.
The announcement of the new Life is Strange game was made in a video where the team expressed their thanks to the community for their support. The video sees Michel Koch, Raoul Barbet, and Luc Baghadoust revealing that they had sold over three million copies of the first game. This success and, of course, support from the community have allowed them to start working on a follow-up. Other than stating that the game was being worked on, nothing else was revealed. The first game followed an episodic format, which not only aided the team in development but made for an interesting narrative mechanic. Whether the new follow-up would follow this same format is yet to be confirmed.
The original Life Is Strange was one of my favourite games of 2015 and one that stayed in my mind long after I had finished it. Hopefully, the team at Dontnod reveals more of the follow-up soon.
