Netflix Announces The Voice Cast For The Castlevania TV Series

The Castlevania series of games were developed by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System and follows the Belmonts, a family who pride themselves on being vampire hunters. Throughout the series, the various members of the family set out on a quest to rid the world of the vampire scourge of which the most dangerous of all is the legendary vampire Count Dracula.

Producer of the series Adi Shankar (The Grey) has released a video introducing the series’ voice cast which has a surprising amount of well know actors among them. The voice cast for the Netflix Castlevania series includes Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont, James Callis as Alucard, Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha, Emily Swallow as Lisa Tepes, Matt Frewer as The Bishop, Tony Amendola as The Elder, and finally Graham McTavish who will be voicing the titular Count Dracula.

It’s great to see some really good voice talent among the announced names, which can only count in the series’ favour. From what little has been shown it seems the series will have the same dark gothic tone that the games had. What do you think of the voice cast? Are you excited for the series release?
