The New Monster Hunter: World Gameplay Trailer Features A Feathery T-Rex

Many were pleasantly surprised with the announcement of Monster Hunter: World at E3 2017. Now, Capcom has released a new gameplay trailer to get us excited for the game.

The New Monster Hunter: World Gameplay Trailer Features A Feathery T-Rex

The new Monster Hunter: World gameplay trailer features loads of new gameplay mechanics that the game will be introducing to players when it releases.

Stuck in the dark or just plain lost? Players are now able to use creatures called “scout flies” (think fireflies) that will lead players in the direction of the creature they are hunting. We also get to see the game’s new multipurpose tool, The Slinger, in action. The Slinger can function both as a grappling hook and a weapon and seems like it might come in handy during hunts.

The most impressive aspect of the trailer though is how alive the world feels. It seems the developers have gone to great lengths to try and create a living eco-system. The trailer ends with the Hunter finding his prey as he tries to capture the creature.

Monster Hunter: World is set to release sometime in 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
