MIT Students Made A Fan Film About Riri Williams, Marvel's New Iron Man

Marvel’s Ironheart (the new Iron Man), Riri Williams, comes to life in a new MIT admissions student-made fan film, Not All Heroes Wear Capes—But Some Carry Tubes.

Marvel’s Ironheart, Riri Williams, comes to life in a new MIT admissions fan film, Not All Heroes Wear Capes—But Some Carry Tubes.

Every year, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology releases a video to let prospective students know when admissions decisions (famously delivered in tubes) will be made. This year the university released a clever little dialogue-free short with fictional MIT student Riri Williams. It shows the Invincible Ironheart flying around and looking cool.

Created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Stefano Caselli, Williams made her debut in Invincible Iron Man #7 as a 15-year-old engineering prodigy. At the end of Civil War II miniseries, Riri Williams steps up and replaces Tony Stark as an armoured hero.
