BioWare has finally announced the release date for the highly anticipated Mass Effect: Andromeda, and it’s sooner than you might think.
It was announced by BioWare that Mass Effect: Andromeda would be releasing on the 21st of March 2017 in North America and the 23rd of March in Europe. The release date was decided upon after the team was allowed to take a build of the game home with them over the holidays to play at their own leisure. Many of these people had key roles in the development of the original Mass Effect Trilogy.
The feedback from the team has been great, according to BioWare. This positive feedback played a key role in deciding when the final release date would be.
Mass Effect: Andromeda follows a new protagonist as they try to find mankind a new home after the events of the original trilogy.
This is great news as we were expecting the release date to be much later in the year. Hopefully, there are no delays as we can’t wait to return to the Mass Effect universe.
