With the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi only six months away (I can’t contain my excitement), Disney has released a behind the scenes video to get us even more hyped.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Behind The Scenes Video Gives Us A Look At Some New Environments, Creatures And So Much More

The new Star Wars: The Last Jedi video features scenes from the upcoming film intercut with interviews with the cast. We also get to see touching images of the late Carrie Fisher who sadly passed away last year. The Last Jedi is her final appearance as the much loved Princess Leia.

We also get to see small snippets of all the effort that goes into creating the various creatures and environments for the film. In an era where CGI is everywhere, it’s truly heart-warming to see how practical effects is being used to great effect in the new films.

In the video, both Daisy Ridley and John Boyega comment on how the film will surprise many with the direction it’s taking. Luckily, we don’t have to wait too long for the Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘s release in December 2017.
