Guardians of the Galaxy 2 director James Gunn And DC Comics president and Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns stepped in to stop a Twitter fight about the two comic book movie universes recently.
While superheroes, and comic books in general, are meant to unite people, many fans have gotten into heated battles on social media regarding which camp has made the better films. But if James Gunn And Geoff Johns are examples to go by, there should be a lot more appreciation for both sides. As seen in the image below, the two creatives were quick to point out their love for the respective comic book houses:
It seems the fight broke out when fans were arguing on Twitter about how the WB gives more of their directors creative control over the DCEU movies compared to what Kevin Feige allows with Marvel Studios and the MCU. But like Johns so appropriately said, “There are other things worth fighting about.”
