Recently it was announced that the new HITMAN game would be delayed until March 2016. Now Square Enix and IO Interactive have revealed the exact launch date, as well as more details on when the rest of the content will become available and what it will consist of.
The game will release on the 11th of March 2016, this will include the initial content that will consist of six campaigns which take place across three locations. These three diverse locations will be Paris, Sapienza and Marrakesh. As for the Contracts mode, players will have access to around 800 targets to craft their contracts from.
March 2016 will also see some of the additional content being made available and will consist of time limited targets and weekly contracts.
After the March 2016 release of the game and initial content, there will be one new sandbox location made available for download per month, these will be available as follows: April will be Thailand, in May the U.S.A and in June Japan will become available to players. These new maps will include new missions, signature kills and contract targets.
It seems that players will have more than enough to keep them busy when HITMAN launches on the 11th of March 2016. It will be interesting to see how players will react to the gradual rollout of content for the game as well as how diverse this content will be.
