The first video in the Guerilla Games series, titled “From Corridors to Mountains”, focuses on the transition from first-person to third-person games. It looks at how the team’s experience with first-person combat is translated into third-person. Players will be able to weaken opponents by shooting off armor plates and focusing on their weak spots.

The second video in the series, titled “Growing Guerilla”, looks back at where the studio has come from and what it had to achieve to become a success in the competitive world of game development. The video also discusses what the team had to change in order to create a game that differed so radically from anything else they have done.

The last video in the series, titled “Creating a PlayStation Icon”, takes a look a what it takes to make Aloy a protagonist that gamers can relate to and how the character stands amongst PlayStation icons like Uncharted‘s Nathan Drake.

Horizon Zero Dawn is set for release in March 2017 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
