If you’ve seen Despicable Me 2 (and I know you have), then you’d agree that the minions were probably the best part of the movie. Most of the humour came from the cute and deadly little critters that help Gru be the worst he can be.
And since Despicable Me 2 has crept into our hearts, Universal Studios, Illumination Studios and Gameloft has decided that the fun with the minions shouldn’t stop once the film ends. As the description goes:
“Gru’s loyal, yellow, gibberish-speaking Minions are ready for their toughest challenge in Despicable Me: Minion Rush. Play as a Minion and compete with others in hilarious, fast-paced challenges in order to impress your boss, (former?) super-villain Gru! Jump, fly, dodge obstacles, collect bananas, be mischievous, and defeat villains to earn the title of Minion of the Year!”
The game is super addictive and with awesome graphics, set in a vivid world and great minion behaviour, will have you coming back to it time and time again. I do have to mention that Gameloft once again have gone with their “free to a degree” approach. The game is free, but gets more difficult and eventually, without buying any credits, will become tediously long / impossible to finish.
Luckily, the fun keeps going for hours on end. If you haven’t downloaded this game yet, you are missing out. It’s not fun if you’re not being despicable.
