Far Cry 5 DLC Packs Include A Visit To Vietnam, Rocket Men And The Undead

As can be expected from the team that brought us the neon-infused Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon expansion, the three new DLC packs for Far Cry 5 that are just as weird and wonderful. The first of these DLC packs, called Hours of Darkness, sees you heading to war-torn Vietnam as you fight to save your fellow soldiers while trying to avoid being killed by the Viet Cong. It’s all very 80/90s’ action movie inspired as you’ll be blowing stuff up, flying helicopters and blowing even more stuff up. The Lost on Mars expansion is where you are tasked with beating back an alien invasion and saving humanity. Judging from the trailer, you will have access to all kinds of futuristic weapons to help you defeat your alien foes. Lastly, there is the Dead Living Zombies DLC pack which features the now obligatory co-op zombie mode. Play through various scenarios along with a gun-toting buddy as you make wave after wave of the undead go splat.

The DLC packs will form part of the Far Cry 5 Season Pass and will also include a copy of Far Cry 3: Classic Edition and the game’s level editor called Far Cry Arcade.

Far Cry 5 is set for release in March 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
