There are many Star Wars fans out there, with many fan made tributes to the franchise over the years. A company, Tom Spina Designs, has now made it possible for fans out there to modify their living environment to match that of the Death Star. The company has created 14 ‘master tiles’, made from linoleum, which replicate the surface of the Death Star as seen in Star Wars: A New Hope. So if you’re willing to get your hands dirty with some DIY, you can now renovate your patios and walkways with the Star Wars-themed landscape. Oddly enough, the tiles resemble that of the original set of tiles used in filming A New Hope, created by Industrial Light and Magic and simply glued the grey tiles together to create the effect. The tiles were simply rearranged for shooting different angles or different parts of the Death Star.
