It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s a new Superman TV series!

The Last Kryptonian is back on the small screen. With recent talk about a guest appearance on The Flash, it seems the character might be getting his very own show.

Between 1952 – 1958 the first Adventures of Superman aired for a total of 6 seasons on the Syndication Network, that was followed by Lois & Clark: The new Adventures of Superman in 1993 – 1997 for four seasons on ABC and then ending off with Smallville in 2001 – 2011 for a total of 10 seasons on both The WB Network (as well as The CW Network).

That was the last we saw him on television, but it has come to light that DC might be adding a Superman series alongside Supergirl, Gotham, and Legends of Tomorrow. No information has yet been revealed on when the series will be airing but it has been confirmed that filming is in the process.

Will the new and improved DC Superman series be as impressive as the latest movie appearances by the Kryptonian? Will there be a surprising spin on the storyline? Will Tom Welling return? We all have questions that we need answers to but for the moment, we wait in anticipation to see what April Fool’s Day has to offer.

wow. I’m just wow! Well, i guess it is time to put out Superman again. Now that there’s a Supergirl and Superman show. To me it looks like the both are competing for the spot. And in the picture above, it doesn’t even look like Superman OR Clark Kent.
