David Fincher’s murderous Mindhunter series, which is based on Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit (a non-fiction book by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker), might be your next Netflix binge.

Prepare for the chills as you watch the new trailer for Mindhunter, a show that follows a pair of FBI agents who interview imprisoned serial killers to solve unsolved cases. Described as House of Cards meets True Detective set in 1979, the upcoming series stars Jonathan Groff as Holden Ford and Holt McCallany as Bill Tench. Fincher (Se7en, House of Cards, Gone Girl), who is directing three episodes, will produce the series alongside Charlize Theron.

How do we get ahead of crazy if we don’t know how crazy thinks? Two FBI agents (Jonathan Groff & Holt McCallany) set out on a sinister investigative odyssey to discover the brutal answers.

Mindhunter is coming to Netflix on October 13, 2017.
