From comic book superheroes to Star Wars fans, Trekkers to Whovians, cosplayers came out in force at the Birmingham, UK Comic Con this past weekend.

Some strove for complete accuracy while others preferred to bring their own personal touches to their favourite characters. While Harley Quinn and Deadpool were still clear favourites, the overwhelming support for anime and manga characters was even stronger.

But nobody was left out. Jareth the Goblin King, made famous by the late David Bowie in the film Labyrinth, musical legend Freddie Mercury, the Nostalgia Critic, Rey Mysterio and the Lucha Dragons, Roger and Jessica Rabbit, and even Ted “Theodore” Logan from the Bill & Ted films were represented with pride. Here are some of the cosplayers and their amazing creations…
