Teen Titans: Rebirth #1 sees Starfire trying to fit into an alien world by helping every person that she can, Raven trying to find sanctuary for herself (but all she finds is terror) and Beast Boy partying it up like there’s no tomorrow. They’re completely unaware that someone out there has bigger plans for them.

Out on another night spent partying and dancing, Beast Boy tries to satisfy his need for attention with a certain crowd. With a flick of a switch, it goes horribly wrong when a sudden surge of electricity gets pulsed through his body from a stranger lurking in the shadows, leaving him totally unconscious. While Starfire is out saving a boy from being kidnapped, totally unaware of what’s about to happen, the same electric current goes through her entire body. Raven and Kid Flash soon become subject to the same fate. Who could this mysterious figure be and what have they done to deserve this?

One by one, they wake up restrained and dangling in mid-air. Confused and not knowing where they are or what’s going on, they’re unable to escape. Then from out the shadows, Robin appears. What could his big plan be with them and why?

The artwork for Teen Titans: Rebirth #1 is awesome. The character depictions and the detail that’s gone into them are brilliant and the story line has definitely got something great going for it. What is going on in Robin’s mind and what could he be planning? We’ll find out in Teen Titans #1.
