Most gamers will agree that one of the biggest and most well-received announcements at E3 2017 was Beyond Good & Evil 2. Although the game’s E3 cinematic trailer was an action packed way of revealing the game, many questions still remained.

This Beyond Good & Evil 2 Gameplay Tech Demo Makes It Hard Not To Get Hyped For The Game

Series creator Michel Ancel sets out to answer some of our Beyond Good & Evil 2 questions in a new tech demo video. The video showcases the game’s new engine while also allowing Ancel to explain more about the game and its mechanics.

The team has quite an ambitious vision for the game – from the scale of the universe players will be exploring to the seamless transitions from a planets’ surface into space. There’s quite a lot to get excited about. One aspect that the team wanted to focus on is the idea of interactivity, not just between characters but between planets and other objects as well. An example of this is that when, for instance, a random asteroid strikes a planet that you are currently exploring the impact of the asteroid could damage your ship. This same asteroid might also permanently scar the planet and its surface. The scope and vision of the game and its universe are really shaping up to be quite impressive.

Will the team reach these lofty ambitions? Only time will tell. However, it’s difficult not to get hyped up for it.
