If Ben Affleck’s recent tweet is anything to go by, we’ll be seeing Deathstroke in the upcoming Justice League film.
Ben Affleck, who plays Batman in the DCEU, has taken to social media to offer a cryptic video teaser for fans. The video shows someone in a Deathstroke costume on set stepping out from a warehouse, or aircraft bay (it’s difficult to tell). Either Ben Affleck is trolling us, or Deathstroke is coming to the DC Movieverse soon. Either way, it’s pretty awesome!

The big question is whether or not the character will appear in the Justice League film or the upcoming Batman solo film. No comment or description was given. Created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, Deathstroke is a famous mercenary who has been a Batman villain for a very long time. Rated him the 24th greatest comic book villain of all time, he has appeared in dozens of comic books alongside The Dark Knight since the 80s. At this point it is uncertain who is playing the character.
Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot will be reprising their roles as the DC Trinity, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman in Warner Bros.‘ Justice League, and joining them are Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Ezra Miller as The Flash.
Exciting times ahead!
