The Hollywood Reporter, in an interview with Ari Emanuel and Patrick Whitesell, the co-CEOs of William Morris Endeavor (WME), Affleck’s talent agency, have learned that Academy Award-winner Ben Affleck has already completed a script for the upcoming Batman solo feature film.

“He’s contracted to do at least Justice League One and Two, so at least three times wearing the cape, there’s a script that he’s written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that’s out there as an option.”

The solo Batman movie, tentatively titled The Batman, has been in the works for a while and might see Affleck collaborating with DC Comics CCO Geoff Johns on an Under The Red Hood story. Let’s hope this is true and, above all, that Affleck would direct it too. The actor is well-known for his directing work on Argo and The Town, both Oscar-winning films.
