The popular BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) service is expected to make it debut on Android and iOS devices in the coming weeks as the firm hopes to retain its customer base by opening up the software to a wider group of users. The app comes preloaded onto BlackBerry devices allowing users to call, text, video chat and share screens with other BlackBerry users will be available on multiple platforms. Newly uncovered user manuals for both platforms suggest that BlackBerry is already trialling Messenger with a group of beta testers and will be released very shortly.
