New Details About The Batman v Superman Batsuit Designs Revealed

In a new report from Comic Book Movie, a source claims to have come into few interesting details regarding the upcoming Batman v Superman film, including the new Batsuit.

The site claims that Batman’s cowl is being designed and inspired by the popular Lee Bermejo’s Batman in the Batman: Noël graphic novel based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. According to the source, they explored concepts that looked like Injustice: Gods Among Us designs, but ultimately passed on those because they were too similar to Nolan’s costume. While big-screen iterations of The Dark Knight have always had sharper longer ears, Bermejo’s Batman had much shorter ears and a cowl that looked more armored.

A week ago the site was also that the Batmobile is being designed and built by General Motors at the GM Advanced Design Studio in North Hollywood. Their source stressed that the new Batmobile would not look like the Tumbler at all.

I’ve gotta say, I dig the Injustice: Gods Among Us style cowl, but I’d actually like to see a move towards a more streamlined, techno-based cowl and suit. After seeing all the cool stuff the suit can do in various comics as well as the Batman Arkham Games, I’d like to see some of that in the movies as well.

True. I expected this Batman to have more tech and have more military gear. It would be the only way the fight with Superman would make sense. Unless they introduce Kryptonite.
