Assassin’s Creed creator Patrice Desilets has revealed a few more tidbits about his upcoming game Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey along with a new teaser trailer.
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is described as a third-person action-adventure survival game where players will relive the early story of mankind. Desilets explained that the game is set 10 million years in the past. The game was initially going to use an episodic model similar to what Telltale uses for they games such as the upcoming Guardians of The Galaxy. Instead, the team decided to scrap this idea, which inevitably has changed the pace at which they have been developing the game. Although the model has changed from the planned episodic one, the game and it’s content still remains the same. The game will see players creating their own story of how humankind evolved as the game will not be taking players by the hand.
Hopefully, we’ll see more of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey at E3 2017.
