Howdy partner, get ready to grab your six shooters as Rockstar has finally revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 is on the way.
After weeks and even moths of speculation, it was finally announced by Rockstar that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017. The announcement also revealed that Rockstar will be releasing the games first trailer on Thursday the 20th of October. In their statement, Rockstar games explained that Red Dead Redemption 2 will once again be an epic tale.
“Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand-new online multiplayer experience.”
The image that Rockstar released features seven different character silhouettes. Who these seven strangers are is yet to be determined, could one of them possibly be John Marston’s son?
Sam Houser Rockstar founder stated that Rockstar will be pushing the envelope of what can be achieved in interactive entertainment once again.
“With Red Dead Redemption 2, the team is working hard to push forward our vision for interactive entertainment in a truly living world. We hope to deliver players an epic experience that builds upon everything we’ve learned making games.”
No news yet on whether PC gamers will be able to get to play Red Dead Redemption 2. along with console gamers, but we can always hope. This is news has just made my day, no…wait…my year.
