Defiant Development has released a new trailer for their upcoming sequel, Hand of Fate 2. Having sold more 2 million copies of the original, the sequel is set for an impressive release on both PC and Xbox One in early 2017. The original Hand of Fate was also made available on PS4, although there has been no set date or announcement for its support for the sequel.
Hand of Fate is a role-playing, third person game, which combines two categories of game with the inclusion of deck-building elements such you’ll find on a typical board game. Players take on the role of protagonists who meet a strange, magic dealer in a cabin at the end of the world. While drawing cards, the dealer is actually narrating the player’s next adventure. In a way, the dealer becomes the antagonist.
“Hand of Fate 2, the sequel to Defiant Development’s action RPG with more than 2.2 million downloads, will land on Xbox One and PC in Q1 2017. In Hand of Fate 2 players are tested through third-person combat, dangerous exploration, tense minigames, deck-building and Dungeons & Dragons-style decisions.”
