With Nintendo releasing the Mini NES later this year, modder lyberty5 took on the challenge to see if he could build an even smaller version of the SNES.

Tiny SNES
The tiny SNES was built using a painted and carved out shell made of clay, which was then filled with a Rasberry Pi Zero running an emulator. lyberty5 preloaded the Rasberry Pi Zero with classic 16-bit SNES games such as Yoshi’s Island and Kirby Super Star. The fact that it is running on a Rasberry Pi allows games to be updated when necessary.
