Disney Reveals Creative Team Behind The New DuckTales Series

DuckTales

Disney has revealed a new artwork for the upcoming DuckTales series and has also announced the creative team that will be part of the production.

DuckTales
The artwork will be part of a new comic (DuckTales Cinestory Volume 1) that will recount the events of the first five episodes of the original TV series.

The new DuckTales series will be produced by Matt Youngberg along with Francisco Angones who will be serving as the story editor and co-producer. Sean Jimenez, from one of my favorite, shows Gravity Falls, will be acting as art director.

The TV series will be returning to the small screen on Disney XD sometime next year as fans have been waiting for Scrooge McDuck and his grandnephews to make their return. The series will also see beloved characters from the original series returning such as Launchpad McQuack, Flintheart Glomgold and of course the Beagle Boys. I loved the 80’s TV series and I am really excited to see the show return. DuckTales, woo-hoo!

DuckTales is an American animated television series based on Uncle Scrooge and other Duck universe comic books created by Carl Barks, that premiered on September 18, 1987 and ended on November 28, 1990 with a total of four seasons and 100 episodes.
